As usual I "google" to find ideas (I m really good at copying but not creating!!!) and I found this one, I decided to give it a try as I had all the things I thought it was needed at home... what I used was origami paper, nylon thread (to hook the cranes), silk thread (the orange one), beads ( i used 3 different types - 2 orange and 1 silver), hashi (chopstick) and glue. I really had all things at home! :) I was going to use more cranes, but I was out of orange beads :(

my niece 1 st bday
My niece is one now... we had a huge party for her (you can check in my other blog - http://minhasobrinhamel.blogspot.com - though it is written in portuguese), I made a gift for the guests.
I made tulip fabric flowers, I found tutorial on the net... I know the leaf is not tulip leaf, but it was the one that would look better, I could write her name and date, and decided to use a pencil as a steam to make the gift more "useful".

Long time...
Wow.. It's been a while since I last posted here! To tell you the truth I ve been quite bored, but didnt do much :(
I moved to US, to a small city called Billerica, and life is quite ordinary around here.
I did some small things but didnt have a camera to take photos, finally today I got some pictures of some stuffs I made.
This are magnets I made using chiogami, I bought some glass tiles( by the way, it was my first time using www.etsy.com and really like it!), glue, magnets and Voila... very easy to make those!
Other thing I made was origami earrings , I found here a store(Michaels) that I go almost every week... it was introduced to me by D. Ana, she told me that I would love that store, and she was absolutely right!!! There you can find almost everything you need for your crafts, and I found there some cristals and tools to make jewelry.
